A PDF editor for bookkeepers and BAS agents
Most of a bookkeeper's PDF work is the same handful of jobs: statements to combine, numbers to black out, an invoice to fix, receipts to get into a spreadsheet. Autonome PDF does them in one window, in your browser, and the client's files aren't uploaded.
The jobs, and where to start
- Combine a month of statements and receipts: Put together a month-end pack in one PDF
- Black out an account number or TFN before a file goes to a third party: Redact a PDF so the words are really gone
- Fix a typo or an ABN on an invoice: Edit the words in a PDF without retyping it
- Get a statement's table into Excel: Convert a PDF to Word or Excel
- Make scanned receipts searchable: Make a scanned PDF searchable
- Lock payslips before they're emailed: Put a password on a PDF
Why it suits a practice
Your clients' documents are tax returns, payslips and bank statements. Autonome PDF does the work inside your browser, so there's no copy sitting on someone else's server. Editing is free. Downloads take a free sign-in, 5 a week, and the Team plan (A$3.30 per person a month incl. GST) gives the whole practice unlimited downloads and shared team files.
Try it on your own file. Autonome PDF runs in your browser, and the file isn't uploaded. Editing is free. Open Autonome PDF

Good to know
Can my whole team use it?
Yes. Anyone can edit for free. The Team plan adds unlimited downloads, Save to Team with every version, share links and saved signatures.
Does it connect to Xero or MYOB?
Autonome PDF itself is for PDFs. Autonome, the business software it comes from, reads supplier bills into draft bills in Xero or MYOB for you to approve.
Is my clients' data uploaded?
No. The work happens in your browser, so the file stays on your computer. A file only leaves it if you choose Save to Team, a share link or Request signatures on the Team plan.
